This is addressed to every young freelancer that need a strong portfolio.
Turn a nice protfolio in a great one could be easier following this few suggestions:
Quantity: no more than 10-15 pics
Substance: according to the job you’re looking for it is enough to fit some important categories like posters, logos, brochure, advertisements… and coordinated promotional piece, that is really important to attract most important firm.
Order of presentation: start with the best piece and ends with your second one!
Case: clean portfolio means clean respecxt for other’s material. Only negative points you can get from this aspect. None will chose a designer if it has a good case for his portfolio…
Resume: should be original and creative but also clear and legible.
