Deadline: 8th of May 2009

Prizes: 1 year-round recognition in these high-profile media platforms:

  • Showcased in the Design & Advertising Awards, published in the November/December 2009 issue of Applied Arts, with a readership of more than 65,000, including many potential clients.
  • Featured in the Design & Advertising Awards Winners online gallery, on www.appliedartsmag.com, which attracts more than 200,000 visitors annually.
  • All winning work will be displayed at the annual Awards Winners’ Exhibit, held in Toronto, in fall 2009.
  • Winners will be invited to an exclusive event attended by senior design and advertising creative people, as well as by fellow winners.
  • All entrants receive a copy of the Design & Advertising Awards Annual. Winners receive two.
  • Winners also receive an Awards Certificate for each winning piece.

Twelve winning jury-picked designs will become part of the MINI Wall Calendar 2010 that will be available worldwide to celebrate MINIMALISM, MINI environmental initiative. We are looking for twelve amazing images for twelve months of the year. MINIMALISM is the communicative umbrella for all activities of the MINI Brand, which contribute to reducing CO2 emission and fuel consumption. MINI has made several new advancements designed to reduce environmental impact and increase fuel efficiency. MINIMALISM includes features such as aerodynamically enhanced bodies, low rolling resistant tires, light weight engines, engine stop-start features, brake energy regeneration systems, optimal shift time indicators and electronic power steering systems.
