Today Tuwidesign inaugurates a new section!
Each week we will collect the newly released albums covers design.
As we now know tuwidesign staff are passionate about music and we think that the world of music and design are two worlds very close to each other.
These covers are an excellent source of inspiration for creative work.
In the coming weeks we will also develop the theme of similarity between the creative process in design and in the music, then stay tuned on Tuwidesign and enjoy the gallery!

Task: Design a card using only black, white and maaaaybee one more colour.
Deadline: 11th June 2009
Prizes: First Prize, 1000 $
This time around, Foldees, the organizer of the competition, is challenging designers to an exercise in simplicity. Foldees wants you to design a card around the theme, “Monochrome”. Arguments aside, Foldees defines Monochrome as only one colour (and black and white are not colours). What kinds of designs are they are looking for? Any kind! Although if you’re unsure, we’d probably prefer that you stick to staples like Birthdays, Flirty, Get Well, or Friendship cards.
Please keep in mind that Foldees will be keeping an extra sharp eye on not just design, but card themes that make use of the “Monochrome” theme. The official rule for now is that the cover must only be of one colour (not including black and white), but the inside of the card has no limitations, except the usual Foldees rule of strictly vector art only.
