Here are some pictures of the ad campaign, created by Saatchi&Saatchi, for the famous cigarettes brand Camel.
The advertising campaign is very interesting because the message is not directed exclusively to the product but to the  camel brand through its  logo.
The advertising campaign is produced by the Italian Advertising Agency Saatchi&Saatchi, in collaboration with photographer Jan Steinhilber.

Geishas (芸者, Geisha) are traditional Japanese artist and entertainer, whose skills include various arts such as music, song and dance. The geisha were very common in the eighteenth and nineteenth century and still exist, although their number is gradually decreasing.
Despite this, geisha has become a figure much represented in the design. This figure in fact has the ability to unite itself in modernity and tradition of japanese culture, therefore, is a strong image when used in the right design context.
Among the entries we’ve been very impressed by those of Rubens Cantuni, with the design of a chubby and ironic geisha.

Here is the second appointment with the new section of the best cover graphics of albums just released.
This week we see as the main theme is the element of dreamy and surreal landscapes. The cover created by Jeff Jordan for The Mars Volta refers to the paintings of Salvador Dalì and Joan Mirò, but present this art to our times and with new elements.
Mythical creatures, visions of heaven and hell, dreams and nightmares are all elements that we find in  the Dream Theater cover, a band always tied into their music at these issues.
We can find the theme of dreams even in the cover of Dinosaur Jr., Regina Spektor and in Rem’s Reckoning.
So.. in this week albums we can see how the type of music, the topics covered in lyrics are in close connection with the cover artwork.

Here’s the best flash sites made by the best web designers.
This week we’ve been very impressed by the Lands’ end website. This site is very well done and the graphics very well kept. The interesting thing is the concept, namely the desire to create a relaxed approach to shopping for swimwear for women, as if you were on a private island.

Here is a new collection of logos for your inspiration. We chose the category of calligraphic logos or handwritten.
Create a logo with these characteristics can often convey elegance. The logo in this case is represented by a sort of signature as to transmit confidence, and establish a personal relationship between the brand and the customer.
In the creation of a logo of this type the designer faces two types of choices.
The first is to use a font. in this case, it must be stressed that, when one or more letters are repeated in the logo, the letters are reproduced in the same way.
This choice may be good for certain brands, but can threaten to take away depth and “soul” for others.
Then the second choice is to change the font in the original vector in order to make different the letters that are repeated, or if you are a good drawer and you have a good handwriting, you can create a draft of the logo and then develop it into vector .
Both are good choices but the thing is, as always, decide what your logo should communicate!

This gallery is certainly a good inspiration for your works and the making of a great website. As you can observe, the use of CSS can achieve very interesting works.
We remind you that you can analyze the code present in each site through the useful Firebug; this plugin will let you know the structure of a css website.

Today we have prepared a gallery of digital artwork based on photo manipulation.
We restricted our search to those artworks whose subject is the pictures of men and women.
It is very interesting to note the importance of starting with a photo of excellent quality to develop a good working. In fact if the subject is portrayed in an image of high quality and produced with a professional camera, half the work is already done!
Working with a good photographer is, for a professional designer, a real need.
When it is established a good synergy between the two figures, the artworks have a quality that distinguish them from the average.
The ability of the designer is to give another form and another life to the images, and enter them in another context. When the photographer is aware of the ultimate goals of the designer, then you create a perfect team work!

Among the sites of this week we recommend you to visit the Coke Zero website.
A very well done flash site with two beautiful girls that will guide you to discover the headquarters of Coka Cola. You will discover if you can be part of Coca Cola Zero Team! The site is very smooth and intuitive, two features that are not always found at sites in flash. Many are made to affect and impress with graphic effects, and less thinking to the ease of use.

As we had promised, here is the second part of the post dedicated to the best of TV series wallpapers!
The quality of the wallpapers is, as we said in the last post, really good!
Many of these graphics can be an excellent source of inspiration, not only for content that are developed, but also for effects that are applied to the graphics.
We have chosen as the representative gallery image the Nip/Tuck wallpaper, very beautiful and cared for from all points of view. The subject of the wallpaper is very intense and moving, the choice of colors is excellent, the effects applied to graphics as a whole are really justified. Congratulations to the designers of this wallpaper!

As we now know tuwidesign staff are passionate about music and we think that the world of music and design are two worlds very close to each other.
